New Parish Flag Presented

On St. Patrick’s Day, Sunday March 17, the council presented a custom-made flag with the new parish logo during 10am services. This is in addition to the purchase of replacements for the state and national flags outside the church entrance.

Heart of a Priest – St. Jean Vianney’s Incorrupt Heart Coming to Washington

The major relic of St. Jean Vianney’s whole, incorrupt heart is coming to Washington! It will be available from March 7 until March 9 at sites in both Spokane and Seattle.

On Thursday, March 7, the relic will be available for veneration at Bishop White Seminary, 429 E. Sharp Avenue, Spokane, WA 99202, from 2 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Bishop Thomas Daly will celebrate Mass at 5:15 p.m.

On Friday, March 8, the relic will be available at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes, 1115 W. Riverside Ave., Spokane, WA, 99201, from 6:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.

On Saturday, March 9, the relic will be available at St. Benedict Parish, 1805 N 49th St, Seattle, WA 98103, from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Bishop Daniel Mueggenborg will celebrate Mass at 9 a.m., and confessions will be available throughout the day.

The Knights of Columbus is organizing this “Heart of a Priest” relic pilgrimage honoring the patron of parish priests, whose holiness and integrity is a model for clergy and laity alike. We hope as many Knights and their families as possible will be able to venerate this relic.

Upcoming Vocations Dinner & Raffle

UPDATE: The vocations dinner was postponed due to the winter snow storm. It has been rescheduled to the evening of Sunday, March 24.

The event will be in Unity Place. Dinner prices are $12 adult, $5 for children under 12. Proceeds go directly towards sponsoring seminarians from the Archdiocese of Seattle.

This is our big annual event, be sure to mark it on your calendars. The flyer will be in the parish bulletin in the coming weeks, and is available here in pdf format.
