Things have been slow going for us here this year as our activities are still limited. We are once again able to conduct our meetings in the parish hall and have some events planned, including Keep Christ in Christmas posters and the free throw competition, Deputy Grand Knight Chris Treichel is putting those together. Knights drive foodstuffs over to Discover Burien at Sunnydale for their charity meals, and have been making collections at masses for things such as hurricane relief and help to Haiti. Our charitable focus this year is RSVP (seminarian support) which is an annual program, and the Cor Christi fund for the new McGivney center in Spokane at Bishop White. We are planning on holding a digital fundraiser as of now.
Our council is currently presenting a resolution to accept a merger of the dormant St. Bernadette council in White Center back into ours. This should be taking place soon, and any members there are welcome to join ours.
