The major relic of St. Jean Vianney’s whole, incorrupt heart is coming to Washington! It will be available from March 7 until March 9 at sites in both Spokane and Seattle.
On Thursday, March 7, the relic will be available for veneration at Bishop White Seminary, 429 E. Sharp Avenue, Spokane, WA 99202, from 2 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Bishop Thomas Daly will celebrate Mass at 5:15 p.m.
On Friday, March 8, the relic will be available at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes, 1115 W. Riverside Ave., Spokane, WA, 99201, from 6:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.
On Saturday, March 9, the relic will be available at St. Benedict Parish, 1805 N 49th St, Seattle, WA 98103, from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Bishop Daniel Mueggenborg will celebrate Mass at 9 a.m., and confessions will be available throughout the day.
The Knights of Columbus is organizing this “Heart of a Priest” relic pilgrimage honoring the patron of parish priests, whose holiness and integrity is a model for clergy and laity alike. We hope as many Knights and their families as possible will be able to venerate this relic.
