Vocations Dinner 2018

Our biggest event of the year has now come to pass and we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who attended and made it a fun and meaningful event. Whether it is in the kitchen, serving, or securing donations for the raffle, the efforts of our members and our helpers are noticed and appreciated. We hope you had a good time and that we will see you again next year. We will likely need more help next year to keep the dinner running quickly and to prevent long lines in the kitchen.

We would also like to thank the students from the school who drew the placemats for tables. Each one was unique and was a colorful reminder of our parish community.

The dinner this year brought in over four thousand dollars. The total was slightly less than 2017, but considering that we had a smaller crew this time around the result was still good. Pictures can be viewed in the gallery.

You may have seen the flyer with contact information of our seminarians in the Sunday bulletin and on the dining tables. We urge you to engage in correspondence with them. They need your encouragement and support on their journey to the priesthood and every letter is important. Please consider sending even a brief email when you can and remind them that we are with them. See the page for contact information, or the flyer, available here if you do not have a copy.
